Aroni had been training to master kuro shio. He had improved greatly, but he had taken a break to practice a new technique. He had began to use the aplication of reiatsu as a non-fatal method to fight. And by applying the reiatsu to the edges of his hands he could make a small blade. He had gotten the blade shape enough to cut through a steel bar and strong enough to that a hit from the zanpaktou of a vice-captain seat or lower. The down fall was that to sustain the blade took too much reiatsu to sustain for more than a half an hour.

Aroni was well rested and was looking forward to his next training session with the captain. He sat against the wall and pulled out a deck of cards and began shuffling, he hoped that the captian got his invitation.

The captain appeared and approached his vice. Oh, I see you're ready for another match" Surely you've gotten better. Well so have I.

The Captain himself had been absent from active duties in the Seireitei due to his seclusion. Tessai's Notes and records were put to good use and his powers have increased dramatically. His only condemning training involved "Gosekiryu Gohoshigore"

The Captain's appearance was a slight bit surprising. His Captain's Haori depicted the Insignia of Kido Corps on its right front. Also Haruki seems to not be carrying his Zanpakuto. But instead....he has a Shakujo (A Clergy/Kido Staff)

It's been a while Liutenant Aroni, but I'm glad you decided on another training session. It's time that I prove that everything I've encompassed over the last couple of weeks aren't theoretically. The Captain proclaimed with a stronger confidence...much stronger than their last training session infact

Aroni packed up his cards. he streached and asked, "are you ready?" but instead of waiting for a reaction he drew da-ku enmu and rushed toword the captain, but instead of trying to cut him Aroni gathered rietsu in his right hand and slammed it in to the ground causing a cloud of dust to erupt and at that moment he dashed behind the captain and swung.

Attempting a strategy similar to our last fight

The dust kicked up as a distraction as Aroni initiated a flash step behind the Captain. The move was instanteous but the time of sight that had encompassed the captain (with the Vice-Captain's movement) was almost like an eternity. His speed was not enough.

The captain took his Shakujo and turned to block Aroni's Da-ku Enmu.


Still a little impatient are we?


(((You might want to watch out. Did you notice I didn't use my zanpakuto to defend your attack. Infact....they aren't even on my person. Oh no...The captain has developed a variety of new skills after establishing control of the Kido Corps. His rank now details that of Grand Kido Commander. A look of curiosity crossed Aroni's face then dissappeared as he retreated a little. "Captain I have trained hard and I entend to show you this, I know not of what you have learned but I feel that I will soon know." Aroni held da-ku enmu in a defensive posision but instead of waiting to see what the captain would do Aroni dashed forward "sentou touhou okeru kuragari da-ku enmu" his blade turned black then began to dissolve, Aroni dashed to the left, "twang" Aroni was confused da-ku enmu could not pick up the captain's location.

(((Weird, I don't know the idea of why da-ku enmu can't pick up my location in its shikai form. But I can formulate a reason )))


The mist formed covered the area in darkness. Hmm...your shikai. It is formidable for stealth, but I'm not going to give you a chance to use it.

Bakudo # 18!!! The Captain proclaimed as he tapped his Shakujo towards the ground. Casting the kido spell with little effort

Aroni could not determin where the captain was, but he took his chances. Aroni jumped out of the mist and called back the mist into the sealed form. "Lets play then." Falling back down he used gravity to his advantage as he fell toward the captain, he swung.

Will Aroni be able to keep up with the captain this time? Tunein to find out.

Going for a more offensive strategy are we! As the captain looked up his Vice came down upon him to add tramendous force. Pulling back in stance, Haruki raised his Shakujo toward air. Bakudo # 4 Crawling Rope!!

A rope of light emitted from the chagra of the staff swirled up and cuffed Aroni's arms. Haruki began to pull the rope back in order to rill him in.

Aroni dropped da-ku enmu and pulled rietsu to the edge of his hands forming them into small blades. He used the blades to cut the rope and fell to the ground. Arni rolled to his feet and grabbed da-ku enmu. "Bankai" da-ku enmu exploded into its shikai then the mist reformed into "soukei da-ku enmu." The sleek blade was drawn back, "kuro shio", but instead of one he shot off two.

The Liuetenant trigger his bankai in a rough fashion and immediately and offensively unleashed two bursts of the Kuro Shio. The captain looked awestruck but set his Shakujo aside, and got hit with the intense blast of reiatsu the spewed from the attack and the captain was knocked back several feet towards the ground.

The captain got up in a heretic fashion. Yada, Yada...Even after that entire week of seclusion, I suppose it wouldn't matter. As a focal kido weapon would never be able to stand up to the power of a zanpakuto

The captain wasn't injured at all. And what's more surprising...As he got up. 5 hilts to what appeared to be swords were sticking out from the center his body.

Aroni was astonished that the captain could conseal his zanpaktou in ths fashon. "Well that was unexpected, I guess the real match will start now?" Aroni dashed to the captain's left "Kuro shio" but as that blast left his blade he dashed to the the captain's right "kuro shio" the two waves crashed in around the captain. Aroni was staring to feel the loss of rietsu but compared tolast time this was nothing.

Oh...I have even more abilities to show you, Liuetenant Bankai!....

The captain contorted as the force from the mass amount of elements spurred forth from the center of his body. Rushing forward to counter aside the blasts made by Aroni's Kuro Shio like they were nothing.

You seem to believe your improvements and your effort would reach me... I'm afraid I have to disappoint you. Let me show you something you haven't seen, even from our previous match.

The collection of fire in Haruki's zanpakuto begain rapidly moving in front of him. Haruki placed one of his hands toward the center of the blaze and inferno that incorporated itself in front of him. Hado # 31 Shakkaho!!

An intense red sphere of energy, in decent size, and surrounded in flames was launched at the liutentant. It seemed like a normal Hado 31 spell, but it was more powerful than any normal one Aroni had ever seen before.

Aroni threw his zanpaktou into the ground and tapped the blade, "garandou kuru" the blade's sonic wave started disrupting the area directly in front of him, the vortex opened and swollowed the attack and before the void closed Aroni focused rietsu in his palm to protect it and grabbed his blade with a yell of pain he lifted the blade from the ground with the effect of forcing the void to travel after the captain . the force of the void left his arm shreaded but he was able to suppress the bleeding with rietsu.

(((Wow, when you get bounded by an attack you harsh the effects on yourself pretty roughly. Amazing that your blade's second ability was able to absorbed an enhanced version of Hado 31.))

The effects of the voided space engulfed Haruki's spell and swirled in agreessive fashion towards the Captain. Amazed by not daze completely, he preformed a series of flash steps in order to avoid the incoming destructive effect left in his wake. Haruki built momentum and continued at his lieutenant.

His speed was terrifyingly great than that of the Vice-Captain had seen before. Captain Seieichi truly was serious this time around. ---He seemed to be augmenting his speed by reducing air of Hitomi Gohoshigore around him as well as pushing the earth under his feet.

He appeared behind Aroni with unexpected velocity. Bits of electricty from Hitomi Gohoshigore swirled past his body as the vice-captain turned around to the Captain whose fingers had already been positioned, initiating another spell. The electricity entwined around the Captain's arm as he called out Hado....#4 Byakurai! ---Due to the lightning element of Hitomi Gohoshigore this seemed to be an ehanced version of this low level spell.

(((I have no idea how you're going to dodge this. You're meeting this spell face first...unless you can surprise me. XD)))

Aroni saw the captain he knew that there was no way to dodge it so he decided to improvise. instead of fleeing he ran right into the attack and shot off a kuro shio before grabbing his injured sholder and snapping it back into place. "Nice, I didn't realize you could move that fast. I see that you mean to force me to to become better." But what can I do .

A blast of energy clashed and a scratch was etched on to Haruki's face as Aroni was pushed and knocked back from the rough energy of the spell and his Kuro Shio.

Intriging...truly. How you were able to keep up with my speed. Even managing to cut me ever so slightly.
His Vice-Captain pushed his arm back into place after the subsequent backlash.

but no rest... The Captain surrounded water around his vice-captain in a current fashion. Water closed in and immersed Aroni heavy covering his entire body, suspending him in it. If you don't move, Liutenant....you will drown

Aroni was surrounded by water, think Aroni, how can you get out of this?. Aroni pulled rietsu to the edge of his blade and shot off a kuro shio the friction of the wave evaporated the bottom half of the water allowing Aroni to fall out. Breathing heavily he dashed behind the captain and grabbed his hiori throwing him then shooting another kuro shio. this time he stumbled backward, weak from the captain's last attack plus the force he had just exerted.

(((Weird didn't know reiatsu had a burning effect. And I don't think you'd be able to get so close with you harshing yourself so badly)))

Haruki looked as his Vice-Captain struggled towards him and comes in for a Kuro Shio forgetting through illfully of the captain's zanpakuto that surrounded them. Air shifted up in front of the captain as he grabbed Aroni's sword arm allowing him to push the direction of the Kuro Shio aside.

Will you still continue to make the same mistake...Aroni?

hmm....you seem to be soaked from all that water....And I can feel the air full of the byakurai Now let's try this

The Captain wouldn't let go the Aroni's arm. Hado # 11...Tsuzuri Raiden!!
And lightning and electricity fowarded into the Lieutenant's body...riling and diminishing the life out of him....

This is what's expected when you get close to me....Aroni!

Aroni fell to the ground he was barely consious, it was all he could do to stand, "Well captain, I conseed." With a grunt of pain he fell to the ground his vision blank. The next ting that Aroni rememberes was waking up in the 4th division barracks three days later. his head fell in disgust, "when will I be able to stand on my own and not have to rely on the strength of others?" he wispered to da-ku enmu, "You need not rely on strength alone, use your skills to work with others so that you may all stand strong and live to protect others that is all I ask"

(((Well you beat yourself up so much...The problem is your bankai's effects are way too simplistic to contend with much larger ones. You didn't give it anything other than some slow voiding effect and an energy discharging attack ---kuro shio)))


((((Here are all of the effects of my bankai and they aren't just abilities. They are just the ways i can use it.

- Combine the elements together to cause a variety of effects to creating storms, freezing, small tremors and earth quakes, shifts in the weather
- Combine with adjecent kido that matches the elements. Like combining my lightning portion of my bankai with Byakurai

- Using the earth and air portions to augment speed and movement as well as adjusting and pushing away the slight movements of the opponent.

- Arranging the elements into any shape I desire and changing their consistences...making them as solid or as unwaverable as I want.

- Coverting the elements into pure reiatsu and turning it in on myself in order to increase my overall power)))

(((And those are just several of many. Probably due to my zanpakuto having more than one elemental affinity but single affinity zanpakuto like Kensei's and especially Baraku are more than a match for mine because of their size.)))
