.SITE RENOVATION.

To all our members,

I (Kensei), have decided to renovate the site, which has remained dead since our head Administrator, Baraku, went absent. There will be a new set of rules, a new skin, new profile formats...

Basically, we're starting the site over.

But don't be alarmed. For those of you who choose to return, you will not have to rewrite your application, or change it to the present system. Your applications are still there, resting in the Filing Cabinet -- feel free and ask the Staff to repost it if it has already been approved, or ask them to read over the application and approve it, then move it to the Approved sub-boards.

If you do not wish to roleplay on the site any longer, or the renovation does not appeal to you, all you have to do is tell the Staff in a PM ; your account will be removed without any questions.

We apologize for any inconveniences, and thank you all for your patience and cooperation.

Affinity/Theme: Wind

Spirit Appearance (Zanpaktou only): A spiral looking creature, with a ball for a head. Two long red spring like the one coils go down its body, if that is what it could be called. It floats in the air like a wind chime; his voice is that of a nice pleasant wind chime.
Whimsical and intangible, the chime has a personality all its own. His very nature says to be a free spirit. His voice is neither wise no dumb, his methods are just as intangible as the wind itself.

General Abilities: When drawn, Heike can release a gust of wind that blows the enemy backwards a few dozen yards, useful on close combat users.

Unreleased Form

Description: A normal katana in terms of length, width and sharpness. A green scabbard protecting, but not a dark green, a light airy green that makes it so it almost appears see through it is so pale. At the end of the katana, a long scarf hangs; it is white with a pale green design running through it, down to the end, where it billows out into what appears to be a circle shape. The hole design looks like a green wind is blowing down the length of the scarf, and of course no matter where Heike is, it is constantly blowing and wafting around like there is a small breeze in the area.

Shikai (Second Form)

Release Command: birukaze *Wind Eddy*

Description: When release, the sword extends slightly, making it a scimitar size, it curves gently as it goes out, not harshly like some bent zanpakuto’s. It goes until it is a half circle, the top folds back outward again and sharpens to a tip. Half way through the half circle, a spiked obtrusion occurs, a triangle if you will. As the sword is release, a light green wind blows up and starts to circle the blade, coming in and making five complete circles around it, spinning and rotating like a top, sometimes rebounding off of each other and going back and forth.

Abilities: What is your Shikai's special abilities

Kyuujousenshu *Drag* -
A rather unique perspective on the wind based abilities in general. Heike has a drag effect with his wind, similar to Kira’s doubling of weight. Heike doubles drag/ air resistance each time his sword connects with an opponent’s weapon or being. The drag acts like a giant kite behind the user, constantly pulling them away from Heike, and it slowly grows with each strike of the sword, doubling in resistance (size) each time. Going from a kite, to a parachute, to a sail mast, etc etc. Each time getting larger, and having more effect, until the opponent is either unable to withstand it and has a *move one step forward, two steps back* or simply can’t move properly. *Note, the drag effects all body parts, so standing still and moving a sword has the same drag as moving the whole body forward* *Need to ask admin/mod what a decent speed starting reducer would be for drag, I think 25 points reduce speed would be fine*
Kaze nagenawa *Wind Lasso*
Using those five wind circlets that spin around his zanpakuto, Heike can launch them off as if one would a discus, or chakram. The whirling chakram of wind launches itself after the opponent, but it does not cut them, or do any sort of damage. The chakram goes after the legs or arms, whipping through them so it orbits around them just as it did around his sword. Those chakrams stay there until one of two things happen. The most deadly is, when all five chakrams are around an opponent, they become paralyzed, each wind chakram making one body part immobile, however this is a rare occurrence, as most people dodge said chakram. *Dodged chakram’s return to Heike after 3 posts* The other, more useful application is that Heike can “freeze” said chakram for one post, making it stay in place and making that body part immobile *arms and legs only* for an entire post, which can be useful should an opponent be preparing for an assault.
*If all chakrams are gone from Heike’s blade, he can reseal it and release it for them to appear again, however doing so reduces all drag effect back to the 0 counter*

Agensutouindo *against the wind*- A stronger version of Heike’s drag effect.

Heike doubles drag/ air resistance each time his sword connects with an opponent’s weapon or being. The drag acts like a giant kite behind the user, constantly pulling them away from Heike and it slowly grows with each strike of the sword, tripling in resistance (size) each time. Going from a kite, to a parachute, to a sail mast, etc etc. Each time getting larger, and having more effect, until the opponent is either unable to withstand it and has a *move one step forward, two steps back* or simply can’t move properly. *Note, the drag effects all body parts, so standing still and moving a sword has the same drag as moving the whole body forward* *Since its bankai, I say starting reducer is 50*
Yatsumekabura nagenawa *Eight Holed Lasso*
By placing his zanpakuto’s together, creating a giant ring, he fires out 5 Wind lasso’s from it, each lasso goes after either a specific body part, or combines to seemingly freeze an attack in place, then a post later firing it back where it came. The wind lasso’s are slightly stronger and faster than in shikai, however they travel in a pack, so abet more dangerous as well.
