.SITE RENOVATION.

To all our members,

I (Kensei), have decided to renovate the site, which has remained dead since our head Administrator, Baraku, went absent. There will be a new set of rules, a new skin, new profile formats...

Basically, we're starting the site over.

But don't be alarmed. For those of you who choose to return, you will not have to rewrite your application, or change it to the present system. Your applications are still there, resting in the Filing Cabinet -- feel free and ask the Staff to repost it if it has already been approved, or ask them to read over the application and approve it, then move it to the Approved sub-boards.

If you do not wish to roleplay on the site any longer, or the renovation does not appeal to you, all you have to do is tell the Staff in a PM ; your account will be removed without any questions.

We apologize for any inconveniences, and thank you all for your patience and cooperation.

Your loving (new) head Admin,
Kensei

Vaizards are Shinigami who have been exiled after attaining Hollow powers. This is an application for Vaizard hopefuls.

~~~ Description ~~~
Name Misuko Heike
Age Roughly 1500, Visual, late twenties
Race Vaizard
Rank Highest Position Offered
Hollow Mask
Misuko Heike Vismask
What appears to be a normal white hollow mask, which is covered by a almost spidery looking black substance, two horn like objects come out from the eyebrow area, four inverted fangs crossing the mouth give him the appearance that he is always grinning, and most of the time he is.
Physical Appearance
Misuko Heike Loyalty_by_Marcks-1
Personality
As if by some standard of reason and logic, it seems to fall away at the very sight of Heike. His personality is stark and dark, as if always in the loop on some cosmic twisted joke. His sense of humor can only be described as flirty and yet threatening, yet he has a post-harmonious side, his friendships are close and few if any exist, secret in nature. His very nature allows living in the world of ideas and strategic planning. He only values intelligence, knowledge, and competence, and typically has high standards in these regards, which he continuously strives to fulfill. His mainly focuses his energy on observing the world, and generating ideas and possibilities. His mind constantly gathers information and makes associations about it. He is tremendously insightful and usually very quick to understand new ideas. Nevertheless, he is not all fun and games; he is driven to come to conclusions about ideas. His need for closure and organization usually requires that they take some action, action he would rather not take. It is not easy for the Heike to express his internal images, insights, and abstractions. The internal form of the Heike's thoughts and concepts is highly individualized, and is not readily translatable into a form that others will understand. However, Heike is driven to translate if the need arise, ideas into a plan or system that is usually readily explainable, rather than to do a direct translation of their thoughts. He usually does not see the value of a direct transaction, and will have difficulty expressing his ideas, which are non-linear. However, his extreme respect of knowledge and intelligence will motivate him to explain himself to another person who he feels is deserving of the effort.
Heike can be a natural leader, although he usually chose’s to remain in the background until he sees a real need to take over the lead. When he is in leadership roles, he is quite effective, because he is able to objectively see the reality of a situation, and is adaptable enough to change things, which are not working well. Heike considers himself a supreme strategist - always scanning available ideas and concepts and weighing them against his current strategy, to plan for every conceivable contingency. Heike however is not perfect in any sense of the word, he spends a lot of time inside his own mind, and has little interest in the other people's thoughts or feelings unless they are directly related to what is currently happening.
Heike tends to blame misunderstandings on the limitations of the other party, rather than on his own difficulty in expressing himself it causes Heike to dismiss others input too quickly, and often leads to becoming generally arrogant and elitist. Heike is ambitious, self-confident, deliberate, long-range thinker. He dislikes messiness and inefficiency, and anything that is muddled or unclear. His value of clarity and efficiency is extremely high, and will put enormous amounts of energy and time into consolidating his insights into structured patterns. When under a great deal of stress, Heike may become obsessed with mindless repetitive, sensate activities, such as over-drinking. He may also tend to become absorbed with minutia and details that he would not normally consider important to their overall goal.
~~~ History ~~~
A cry could be heard rolling across the miles of countryside surrounding the Tsutake lands one of many clan territories in Japan over three hundred years ago. They emanated from a caravan heading to the central rural village away from the capitol, a new life had come into the world just a little too early to call the village its home. Yes Heike sure did make a grand and very loud entrance into the world. His parents were a young couple, kind and loving but also down on their luck for even after escaping some distress in whatever territory they came from they couldn’t land a job in the capitol and so had left, a young man who for all his knowledge in academics could not find a job and a barmaid who had been let go after she had become pregnant. Thus they were heading for the large village Tsutake for it had been said that despite their slum oriented structure they still required plenty of civilians to run businesses and so perhaps there was a life for them there. Of course it was during the wet months and a series of setbacks resulted in Heike being born on the road, regardless they were close and pulled into town not long after the birth. Unfortunately, Heike’s father Shinji would soon find that things were not going to change and his knowledge in math and physics was as useless to him here as it had been in the capitol, his wife Nema would find a job serving drinks as she had before but it was in no way enough to provide for the family. Thus do we begin down Heike’s early years that were ruled by the lifestyle his family was unfortunate enough to fall into, to this day, he remembers his parents with love but considers his memories with a bittersweet lens.

For the most part his early years were uninteresting as are most children’s but a few moments bare mention. For starters, his father never did find a job, they were able to buy a cheap hovel off his mother’s wages but never truly provide for themselves. Even day-to-day survival was only made possible by stale bread and defused ale, living in a house that could fall at any moment and never having luxuries. Regardless his father did what he could, teaching his son all of the things he knew though this often devolved into frustration for his son was much too young to understand most of it, yet he was the only one whom his father could divulge his knowledge to. Equally, his mother loved him but she had to work all day and into the late evening to even begin making enough to buy anything beyond the bare necessities, for they did want to provide for their child they just could not. At this time, neither of them was thinking of the religious communities that were set up even in this village. In fact, Heike’s parents wanted to get out of the village that was progressing closer and closer to annihilation thanks to the poor economy but they simply lacked the funds. Thus, it was at this time that Shinji used a massive sum to purchase a bow, a weapon he thought fitting for a young man he had been teaching heavy math to for it was a thinking man’s weapon. This lead to a long shouting match that became all too common a sight in the later years for the young Heike who some time after in life would find many of the surrounding neighbors remembered vividly for years as “That young couple who was always yelling at the top of their lungs” and pissed off quite a few. Regardless Shinji won out over Nema claiming that if they were going to be stuck here they might as well try to get their son accepted into the religious practices which if nothing else took good care of their members since they would never be able to push him into a decent profession otherwise unless they just sold him off to work under another. Nema did not like the idea of her son becoming a religious zealot who warred for some fake god but much preferred it to throwing him to the highest bidder.

Misuko Heike Empty Re: Misuko Heike

Thus on the summer of his fifth birthday did Shinji begin teaching the boy how to use ranged weapons, most of them filthy leftovers discarded by real warriors. This did not go so well, for the boy himself was rather large since his parents had given every scrap they could get their hands on to him and was in no way trained, to top it off his father was no fighter and did not know the most basic of skills and was a terrible archer to boot, the one weapon he had thought might separate his son from the pack. Regardless they worked long and hard, and though any outside person, especially a trained warrior could have seen the futility in it all it did bring them closer and would infuse Heike with the drive he would latter develop to a fine point. For it was the summer, in the late afternoon that the first disaster in his life struck. He had gone out that day with his father to the market to buy food with some of the excess money they had made that month, due to this, his mother had been coming home earlier as of late and the last time he saw her she had been preparing dinner. They returned home and Brady had told Heike to head out to the makeshift firing range they had set up in the back of the house and they would go around and see who could come out on top. The next thing he knew his father had arrived and taken him away to where the local “law” enforcement HQ was centered, he would stay there that night while his father was taken away for questioning. They returned home the next day and his father told him to pack his things, this they did and they then moved out of the house and on to the street. Heike never could understand where his mother went but anytime he asked his father the man grew agitated until he would finally just tell the boy to shut up and so the boy grew hard to the subject himself, perhaps that and somewhere deep inside he had always understood his mothers position. He would find out many years later after he had joined the Nation what the whole story had been, his mother had not actually had her salary increased, she had been dealing opium with a large crime syndicate to make money on the side and had fallen into debt with them, so one day she had come home and promptly hung herself. Ironically the only thing that saved the boy and his father from the syndicate coming and collecting them as debt was the economy which they at one point had wanted to leave behind as its main members were killed during the infighting that occurred as many of the crime syndicates fought over what was left of the wealth in this country.

His father became a changed man after the incident for the obvious reasons (and the less so, like the fact that he knew the syndicate would come to claim the debt and unlike Heike would come to know in the future he would never know that they would be killed). He stopped training his son though Heike would continue without his help for he now had a dream and wanted to become a warrior, Brady became violent and loved to spend whatever money he could scrounge together on alcohol. During this period Heike picked up a job as a local delivery boy and it was perhaps this time itself, which actually prepared him for his future, he was no longer pampered and quickly lost his weight becoming thinner by the day, his job also began to shape him physically but most of all, though he had never thought the world a wonderful place, he like many protected children had still seen it through a honey glaze and now that was lifted. Life was hard and every bit of money he brought home from his job was hounded by his father into more drinks and more anger, and though he never took it out physically on Heike for that was not the kind of man he was he did yell quite often and tell him that he should just give up because he was useless and his dream was crap. At the time Heike had silently taken it but hated him for it, later he realized the trouble his father had been going through and would forgive him for it in his mind at least. This continued on and on for over a year till he was seven, all the while he trained with his weapons and despite no formal training he had developed his own understanding concerning them, he was already exceptional with the bow though he fired completely different from the general style and was well crafted in the blade even if he still had many exploitable forms. He and his father had been huddled under an abandoned storefront along the market street for ages now, they simply hid their things in a nearby alley during the day and nobody could say they were hurting anything. Thus Heike left for his job one day, he had to admit it could be much worse off for he could be one of those children being worked to death in the fabric or weapons industries that were becoming so productive thanks to the economy. By comparison his job was almost rainbows and kittens, the pay was not bad either and when Heike left later that evening, three weeks from his birthday he decided he would go spend it on some good food at the local grocery as his way of saying happy birthday to himself, may fathers wrath come as it may he thought. So leaving the deli many hours later and plenty satisfied he proceeded home to tell his father, whom he knew would be drunk beyond belief, how a vicious gang of criminals had stolen his money on the way home, he even thought about telling him they said they were going to be taking his money on a daily basis now for he knew his father who became more lethargic with every day would do nothing about it.

So did the second event to shape Heike life take place and this time it would send him down the path of a outcast warrior. Looking back at it now he was a fool for not noticing the signs, jaundice, itching, fatigue, confusion, it was all so blatantly obvious but perhaps a mixture of the child’s age and the fact that his father had been this way since his mothers “disappearance” had added to it, but still Heike beat himself up over it for years to come because as a boy who had lost one parent already you’d think he would have been more careful. After all it was not as if he hated his father, on the contrary even in his constantly drunken state, even when he was yelling at him, he still loved him because he realized that his father had tried so hard when he was younger. For he came home to his little hole in the wall, still happy as could be only to find his father leaning over the edge of the vacant stores counter. At first he just sighed because he thought his father had passed out and he was off the hook, then he noticed that his father was bending over in a puddle of his own throw-up and appeared to have soiled himself. At this the boy ran over to him and began shaking him vigorously but there was no response, he tried taking his pulse like he had seen so many medics do to patients in the neighborhood clinic but he had no practice and had no idea what he was really looking for. He began to call for help and try to move his father, hoping that he had just become unbelievably drunk and was passed out beyond belief but that’s when his father just dropped straight to the ground without a twitch on his part and his vacant eyes cast upward into the clear night sky. In the following days there was little fanfare over his fathers death, just another dead homeless man, just because he had a kid they did confirm that he had indeed died from liver failure and moreover acute renal failure as a complication over the years of drinking but other than that he was thrown in a bag and disappeared, likely burned like most of the homeless dead bodies in those days in one giant pit. Such was the way for the inglorious dead, but this was what set Heike off, though they had been kind enough to make these inquiries into his death for the kid they still had nowhere to put him and just threw him back on the street telling him to see if he could work something out with his employer. He would have none of that though, he returned to the shop and pulled away the loose board where he had hidden his weaponry in case of thieves, took the few arrows and rusty old blades he had and the next morning when the first priest at the temple showed up he was waiting on the doorstep.

I would have responded sooner but between this RP, a few papers, nee-chan (Shizuku), and other random crap, please forgive me for creating so much time in order to respond to your app.

I will say the story is fickle with semantics ever where but that's just my writers perspective because it's still well written. Which is why I might approve this one and not the app. that was made before this one. The rank "Vizard Knight" is canon and it wasn't really recommended if only but for the sake of order [among vizards] that the rank be used. So as a precident now, even though I never wanted to, THE VIZARD KNIGHT CLASS WILL ONLY HOLD 2 PEOPLE AT ANYONE TIME.

This rank like any other vizard rank doesn't hold any tangible command or control of others instead it recognizes one as a "fully realized" Vizard.

So there is only one thing I really have to complain about despite the thoroughly long history. Honestly I don't know if it was planned or rather you just copied some stuff to hinder the rules of length but dude. None of this story you wrote has anything to do with shinigami, vizards, hollows, or anything remotely related to Bleach. This is probably the first app. in which a whole page and a half of crap was written. It's like you forgot exactly what the app. was about as soon as you started your personality description. I suppose the app. isn't finished yet (maybe) but this app. has been sitting around for over five hours so....I really hoped you didn't think you were going to start RPing with some random non-Bleach Related history.

So Sorry. Excellent Length (More than excellent as a matter of fact) And yet considering the history nor your personality aren't related to what the actual RP is about I can't approve this.

I wasn't aware histories had to be souly about*bad pun I know* bleach, or anything related to bleach

Sadly, all shinigami were born... and died, histories are usually about living...

As for personalities being about bleach, I think that's a little off base, as a personality is how you act, and how you are, how that equates to bleach in the realm of personalities is beyond me...
I'm pretty sure if you wrote about Ichigo's personality, you wouldn't have the word, Shinigami, Soul Society, and Reiatsu in it, as those are lexicon terms, and don't fit a personality.

I agree. They are lexicon and thanks for saying something this is mook point. How in the world would you be able to write any history without applying it to what the site is about. And I understand that it's possible but in my eyes and on this site as long as I'm the app. mod. I'm pretty sure that your history has to comprise some form or fashion of how you became a shinigami and subsequently a vizard.

And characters within the time composition of Bleach live for very long times so the point about histories being about life/being alive is fickle. Especially since the overall story is about souls (people who are already dead) that can and mostly do what humans do (not counting reiatsu or zanpakuto and improable fencing skills.)
